After the update of whatsapp privacy policy Indian government heed about the privacy and security of Indian citizens. Also Indian people scared about their privacy and than people start switching to other social messaging application like Signal, Telegram etc.
Last year National Informatics Centre (NIC) developed sandes an Indian messaging application. Firstly Indian government launch sandes application beta version for government employes only because of the testing of the sandes application. now government launched the application pubic.
Essentially Indian government replay to the whatsapp by making of sandes application After the whatsapp privacy update there is big controversy between government and whatsapp. people also want other platform like whatsapp with better privacy and security so government launched sandes or the public use.
Sandes application is available for both Android and for IOS. For android download size is 29MB and compatible on android version 5.0n or above, And for IOS 62MB and compatible on ios version 11 or above. People can download the directly from the play store or from app store.
Registration on sandes:
User can register with their mobile number or with a Email ID, After entering mobile number or Email ID a OTP generate and than user fill their basic details like Name, Gender and allow for permission required by sandes app. Registering process is pretty much simple.
At first sandes app launched for government use so government employes register with their government ID. But now sandes is available for all.
